Our mission through S.A.V.E.S is to provide a safe and supportive environment for families as they transition to a new normal. We work with families facing all levels of conflict, family structures, and needs to ensure children have a safe place to interact with their parents.
OVERVIEW
The S.A.V.E.S Program offers a safe, neutral, and supervised environment for visitation and child exchanges between custodial and visiting parents
We work with our families by empowering them as individuals and providing them the necessary tools to help transform their lives, allowing their children to not be caught in the middle of adult situations.
S.A.V.E.S creates a safe environment where children can build strong relationships with both their parents. Our services give kids the opportunity to grow into productive, emotionally healthy, and well-adjusted children.
The visitations and safe exchanges at S.A.V.E are always supervised by a trained professional. The parents never have to come into contact helping to deescalate any tensions caused by the separation. Services are provided in an individual or group setting and on-site security is available to enhance the safety of our families.
S.A.V.E.S builds a safe, secure, and supportive environment for families. Parental separation affects every relationship in the household.

Appointments can be scheduled for regular or one-off custody exchanges. In a typical transfer, one parent brings the child to S.A.V.E.S. The exchange monitor stays with the child in a comfortable room with child-friendly toys and books and the first parent leaves the facility. The second parent arrives fifteen minutes later, ensuring that there is no contact with the first parent. The exchange monitor transfers the child to the second parent’s care. The return transfer of the child takes place in the same way at the end of the agreed period.
No, you do not need to be court ordered. Though, we receive many referrals that are court ordered we want to help all families going through difficult separations.
Our clients are either court ordered, referred through our legal system, community, and collaborative partners, or self-referred. This service helps prevent ongoing exposure of the child to parental altercations by ensuring that there is little or no contact between both parents and their children in the same setting.
The custodial parent will drop off the child at our S.A.V.E..S location and leave. The visiting parent arrives and enjoys the pre-determined time with their child under the supervision of a trained professional. The visiting parent and child can do everything from play a game to watch a movie to read a book. The trained professional does oversee them the entire time, though. When the visit is done, the visiting parent leaves and the custodial parent picks the child up.
You will need a photo ID, picture of the child, proof of residency, income, and car insurance (if applicable), and a court order (if applicable). DoFCS clients have their own requirements as set forth by their case worker.
Our services are offered on a sliding scale fee based on your service needs.
