3) Establish and support a community resources centre / learning annex that will be utilized by independent education service providers and community groups for the administration and promotion of educational and youth focused programs.
To maximize our impact on current efforts, we may seek to collaborate with and support financially (with regards operational short falls for approved programs) other for-profit and non-profit organizations.
OUR SCHOLARS PROJECT
Better Skills. Better Grades. Better Life.
Supplemental education can help strengthen subject comprehension, boost confidence, and build important learning skills. Tutoring gives students individualized attention that they don't get in a crowded classroom. This helps children who struggle to keep up, as well as those who aren't challenged enough.
Since 2011 (*o/a Oxford Learning Bermuda) our team of educators has been offering tutorials to support students enrolled in public and private schools.
We utilize proven programs that are designed to assist students to grasp and reinforce concepts that they may be struggling with in their regular classroom setting.
Earned income from our fee-for-service learning centre Scholars Bermuda and donations to the OurScholars Project; enable us to award scholarships to our tutoring programs, for the benefit of children and young people who through lack of means, would otherwise be unable to afford these services.
Greater access to educational opportunities and resources, to help increase skills development, improved grades and an improved opportunities for a successful school experience and ultimately, life conditions.
Please help make learning easier, for children in need.
